Strengthening legal dissemination, safeguarding the border area

Following the motto of “three closenesses, four togethers,” Pho Bang Border Guard Station has intensified coordination with Party committees and local authorities to promote the dissemination and education of legal regulations among officials and residents in border areas. Through diverse measures and forms tailored to the specific conditions of each locality and unit, the station has achieved notable results.

The Party Committee and Command of the Station regularly and strictly disseminate resolutions, directives, plans, and guidelines of the Party Central Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, the Border Guard Party Committee, the Provincial Party Committee, and the Provincial Border Guard Party Committee related to mass mobilization and specialized communication efforts.

Officers and soldiers frequently guide and encourage collectives and individuals to register for self-management of border markers and boundary lines. They also motivate residents in border areas to enhance their sense of responsibility and actively participate in patrols and border protection alongside the Border Guard.

Pho Bang Border Guard officers have conducted outreach activities at Pho Bang Market, distributing leaflets on the Law on Anti-Human Trafficking, raising awareness of criminals’ tactics and methods, and encouraging people to avoid becoming victims.

Officers and soldiers proactively contribute to strengthening grassroots political systems, promoting the role and responsibility of local cadres; they also reinforce Party members’ participation in village-level Party cell activities and responsibility for supporting assigned households.

They set an example in discipline and conduct while working in local communities; work with residents to care for crops and livestock; provide guidance on production techniques; and support economic development and cultural life.

The Pho Bang Border Guard Station works closely with Party committees and local authorities to persuade residents to strictly follow the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies and laws.

They also effectively implement the project “The military participates in communication and mobilization of ethnic minorities to actively combat and defeat hostile forces’ plots to divide national unity in the new situation.”

Professional teams are regularly sent to grassroots areas to conduct legal education sessions for students at Pho Bang Ethnic Minority Boarding Lower Secondary School.

Luu Khiem
