Christmas 2025 in Tuyen Quang brings faith and community together

Christmas is not only an important festival for Catholics and Protestants but has also become a shared celebration enjoyed by people across the country. Streets, homes, and public spaces are vibrantly decorated to welcome a joyful Christmas season and the coming New Year.

The province is currently home to 30,200 Catholics and 37,200 Protestants, who live in solidarity with people of other communities.

In the lead-up to the festival, congregants across the province joined hands to clean roads and decorate their homes. Churches were adorned with Christmas trees, nativity scenes, and colourful lights to welcome visitors.

Hung Loi Commune has 18 religious groups that actively implement the policies of the Party and the State, while also accompanying and supporting ethnic minority communities.

In Bach Xa Commune, Bach Xa congregation annually welcomes more than 2,000 congregants both inside and outside the commune during the Christmas season. In the main days of the festival, various activities are organized, such as hymn singing, Christmas masses, and the distribution of candies to children. This is an occasion for people to gather, pray and share wishes for a happy new year.

During the Christmas season, congregations across the province continue to organize humanitarian activities, including support for disadvantaged children and people in difficult circumstances. These efforts help strengthen the spirit of great national unity and contribute to the province’s overall development.

In December, Tuyen Quang comes alive with a vibrant blend of culture and faith, as Christmas celebrations transform the province into a lively festival where religious traditions and local customs meet, bringing people of all backgrounds together in joy, solidarity, and a festive atmosphere.
