Schools have proactively innovated their curricula and teaching methods in line with the 2018 National General Education Program. Many localities have adopted models such as "Happy Schools" and "Green - Safe - Friendly Schools," contributing to a positive learning environment.
Binh Thuan Primary School (Minh Xuan Ward) is a pioneer in educational innovation. According to Principal Nguyen Thi Thu Huong, the school emphasizes creating a friendly learning environment, using electronic lessons, and designing engaging activities that stimulate students' creativity and critical thinking. The school also focuses on professional development through collaborative lesson studies to enhance teachers’ pedagogical skills.
At Viet Vinh Primary School (Bac Quang Commune), Principal Dang Quang Nhan shared that many students in mountainous areas face disadvantages, so the school combines knowledge education with teaching life skills, communication, and preserving ethnic cultural heritage. The goal is for every student to feel loved and respected, making school a joyful experience.
To meet the needs of educational innovation, Tuyen Quang has prioritized investment in primary education infrastructure. From 2021 to 2025, the province has mobilized hundreds of billions of VND to build and renovate classrooms and provide teaching equipment, especially for the new general education curriculum. Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training, Hoang Minh Canh, mentioned that 100% of primary schools now have solid classrooms, and many schools in remote areas are equipped with libraries, computer rooms, playgrounds, and standardized restrooms.
The province currently has over 8,700 primary school teachers, all of whom meet certification standards, with more than 85% holding university degrees or higher. Annual professional development programs, workshops on the new curriculum, integrated teaching, and digital tools are regularly held. In addition to state funding, local communities, businesses, and parent associations contribute to educational development, helping build friendly libraries, reading corners, playgrounds, and gardens, creating a safe and welcoming learning environment.
With a clear direction and support from various levels of government, primary education in Tuyen Quang is steadily advancing, laying a solid foundation for the future of education.
