In 2024, Plan supported the construction of a nearly 500 m², two-story stilt-style dormitory at Tan Tien Ethnic Boarding School with VND900 million, accommodating nearly 300 students. In 2022, the organization funded over 1.3 billion VND for Nam Dan Primary School, providing eight fully equipped classrooms, new toilets, and a library. Plan also built a 160 m² swimming pool at the commune center and organized swimming, survival skills, and drowning prevention classes for students. Local authorities credit Plan’s support for enhancing education, livelihoods, and child protection, especially for girls, contributing to socio-economic development in the region.

From 2021 to present, Plan invested over VND147 billion in 24 new school buildings and dormitories, and supported 64 schools with teaching materials, repairs, and kitchen facilities.

Plan also empowers ethnic minority youth through economic development projects across Xin Man, Hoang Su Phi, Yen Minh, and Meo Vac. To date, 46 youth economic groups have been established, benefiting nearly 1,000 young people with technical training, seedlings, production equipment, and access to green agriculture models. Eight community learning centers provide vocational classes and traditional craft experiences, helping youth gain skills and confidence to start businesses.

According to Duong Van Tuy, Project Director of Plan in Tuyen Quang, the organization aims to build sustainable communities where all children, especially girls, can live safely and reach their potential. From 2025-2026, Plan plans to invest over VND34 billion in early childhood development, youth economic empowerment, and sustainable resource management.

Nguyen Thi Thuan, Head of International Cooperation at the Department of Foreign Affairs, emphasized that Plan has contributed more than VND600 billion to Tuyen Quang, making it a key international partner advancing sustainable poverty reduction through education, health, child protection, and livelihoods.
