Inspiring women’s creativity
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has recently approved the Project on Supporting Women’s Startups for the 2026–2035 period.
The program targets all women aspiring to start their own businesses, with a particular focus on those in vulnerable circumstances, such as disadvantaged, single, or disabled women. By 2035, 100% of professional staff members of the Women’s Union at all levels are expected to enhance their knowledge, competence, and skills in organizing and implementing activities that support women in entrepreneurship, business development, and cooperative models. This foundation is crucial, as capable union officials play a key role in effectively establishing and maintaining women’s startup and economic development groups and clubs.
In addition, the project aims to build a closely connected startup ecosystem, fostering collaboration among the State, experts, consultants, Women’s Union organizations, strategic partners, and other stakeholders in supporting women entrepreneurs. It emphasizes strengthening ties with private enterprises -especially large corporations - to provide not only financial resources and business experience but also ensure sustainability and market expansion for women-led startup projects.
The project reflects a strategic and humane vision, promoting the realization of women’s business ideas. It contributes to the national goals of private-sector development, gender equality, and sustainable socio-economic growth in the coming years.
