At Nguyen Van Huyen High School, the school has equipped a water filtration system to serve over 1,700 students, teachers, and staff, along with providing a clean water station on the school grounds for physical activities and communal events. Nguyen Thi Ha, the school's health officer, stated that they regularly strengthen health services, environmental hygiene, and work to prevent waterborne diseases. Teachers, staff, and students are involved in cleaning the school grounds, maintaining drainage systems, and disinfecting classrooms, ensuring students' health.

At Tien Nguyen Ethnic Minority Boarding Primary School, food safety measures are strictly followed. The school, with 387 students - 322 of whom are boarders - provides three meals daily, prepared by a team of seven kitchen staff. All ingredients are sourced from reputable suppliers, and food samples are retained in accordance with regulations. The kitchen is equipped with drying cabinets, covered storage for plates, and stainless steel trays with lids. Kitchen staff undergo regular health checks and food safety training. Mai Thi Luyet, the school's vice principal, emphasized that only certified clean food is used, with no industrially colored or uncertified products.

In addition to infrastructure investment, schools in the province collaborate with local authorities to conduct food safety awareness campaigns, food poisoning prevention workshops, and safety training for teachers, students, and staff. The provincial health sector also works alongside education departments to conduct inspections, monitor compliance, and prepare emergency response plans for food poisoning incidents. This collaborative approach helps detect and mitigate food safety risks in school kitchens.
