Party General Secretary To Lam emphasized this during a recent working session with the Party Committee of the Government, where several legal issues were reviewed, including the amended land law. He underscored that the revision must ensure long-term vision, feasibility, and consistency, aiming to build a strict, modern legal system capable of meeting national governance demands.
The land law is a key piece of legislation with extensive impact, directly affecting the rights and interests of the State, businesses, and citizens. Therefore, its amendment is regarded as a central and urgent task, requiring significant investment of resources and time to ensure it is conducted seriously and effectively. The revision process must align closely with the viewpoints of the Party and the Constitution. During the drafting process, evaluations must be conducted thoroughly and prudently, with the spirit of serving the nation and the people, avoiding any insertion of sectoral or local interests.
It is crucial to fully identify the existing difficulties and obstacles in land management, ensuring that solutions are comprehensive, fundamental, and consistent. The proposed amendments must effectively address bottlenecks, unlock resources, and harmonize interests, preventing the emergence of hotspots, disputes, complaints, corruption, or negative behaviors that could affect the overall political climate. At the same time, vigilance is needed to prevent hostile forces from distorting or exploiting policies during the revision of the land law.
