Pioneering green energy development in Tuyen Quang
As of June 2025, nearly 100 customers in Tuyen Quang province have installed rooftop solar power systems, with a total capacity of almost 2,000 kWp. The adoption of this renewable energy source has enabled households and businesses to save between 50% and 80% on their monthly electricity bills.

Leading the local green energy trend is Viettel Construction Corporation - a pioneering company in providing turnkey rooftop solar solutions. This effort represents a concrete step in implementing the Politburo’s resolutions on national energy development and digital transformation. To date, Viettel Construction has completed over 11,000 rooftop solar projects across 34 provinces and cities, with a total installed capacity of nearly 500 MWp.
In Tuyen Quang, Viettel Construction not only supplies equipment but also offers customized design consultations based on each rooftop’s characteristics and the customer’s electricity usage habits. The systems feature app-based monitoring, automatic error alerts, and come with up to 12 years of product warranty and 30 years of performance warranty. These factors have earned the trust and confidence of local users.
Notably, with the implementation of a new five-tier electricity pricing system starting in June 202, and the possibility of quarterly increases if input costs rise by more than 2%, the demand for solar power is expected to grow significantly.
Mr. Duong Hoang Giang, Head of Solutions and Technical Services at Viettel Construction Tuyen Quang, said: “We are committed to supporting the province’s residents, around 400,000 households in developing efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable solar energy solutions.”
The widespread adoption of rooftop solar power not only helps ease the burden on the national grid but also contributes to Tuyen Quang’s transition toward a greener, more environmentally friendly future.
