Hong Thai Commune, Tuyen Quang Province, sits at an altitude of more than 1,200 meters above sea level. Every year, around early July, as the summer rains arrive, a giant "ink-wash painting" seems to awaken. Water flows from the mountain slopes through underground springs, cascading into each terraced field like shimmering waves rolling against the foot of the mountains, transforming the entire valley into a vast mirror reflecting the clouds above.
