Key infrastructure projects press on through New Year holiday

This year’s New Year holiday lasts four days (from January 1 to 4). However, at key infrastructure construction sites across the province, machinery and workers continued to operate without interruption, ensuring progress and contributing to the acceleration of targets and tasks for 2026 from the first days of the new year.

On New Year’s Day, the contractor implementing the project to renovate and upgrade the revolutionary road from Tan Trao Commune to Trung Yen Commune carried out roadbed construction on the section starting from the three-way junction near Na Nua Hut, the Uncle Ho Monument in Tan Trao, and Tan Trao Communal House.

Upholding the spirit of “no days off,” Truong Son Construction Corporation - the contractor of the Tan Trao - Trung Yen road project - has been actively working to accelerate project implementation.

The project to renovate and upgrade the revolutionary road from Tan Trao Commune to Trung Yen Commune has a total length of approximately 9.243 km. The starting point (Km0+00) is at the junction from Na Nua Hut to Lung Tau, while the endpoint (Km9+243.35) is at the beginning of Trung Yen Bridge in Quan Ha Hamlet, Tan Trao Commune.

Workers did not take a break during the New Year holiday and continued construction at the Thanh Thuy Inter-level Boarding School for Primary and Lower Secondary Education.

National Highway 2D, connecting the Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho Expressway with the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway, is seeing contractors actively address site clearance bottlenecks during the holiday period.

In Minh Tan Commune, the project to build an inter-level boarding school for primary and lower secondary students has maintained a workforce of 50 workers throughout the holiday.

The foundation of one classroom building component of the Minh Tan Inter-level Boarding School for Primary and Lower Secondary Education was poured on January 3.

Although construction only commenced on December 19, with the spirit of “working beyond capacity, overcoming rain” and operating in “three shifts, four teams,” the Minh Tan Inter-level Boarding School project has now largely completed its foundation works.

Despite rainy conditions during the holiday that prevented asphalt concrete pavement works, contractors on the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway project have maintained manpower and continued suitable tasks in line with weather conditions, such as slope reinforcement and other auxiliary works.
