Construction progress at the social housing urban area in Minh Xuan Ward has been accelerated by both the investor and the construction unit.

Accordingly, the approved projects are located in Minh Xuan and Binh Thuan wards - rapidly urbanizing areas with growing demand for social housing.

These projects are scheduled for completion by or before 2030, contributing to the implementation of the national project on building one million social housing units during the 2021- 2030 period.

For the new urban area project along the Lo River in An Tuong Ward, a 20% land fund has been allocated for social housing, equivalent to 411 units, with a total investment of over VND 320 billion.

The Tuyen Quang Urban Housing Development Area project in Minh Xuan Ward covers a total area of 1,610 square meters and includes about 146 social housing units. Developed by Tuyen Quang Auto Business Joint Stock Company, the project was launched on June 6, 2025, with a total investment of over VND 137 billion.

The chairman of the Board of Directors of Tuyen Quang Auto Business Joint Stock Company said the company has mobilized human and material resources to accelerate project implementation and is determined to hand over the houses to beneficiaries on schedule.

To meet and exceed the Government’s targets, the Provincial People’s Committee has instructed the Department of Construction to strengthen supervision and urge investors in commercial housing and urban area projects to develop social housing on the mandated 20% land fund in line with approved timelines.

The accelerated implementation of social housing projects is expected to better meet local housing demand, particularly in the context of the newly implemented two-level local government model.
