In the context of increasingly deep international economic integration, promoting and introducing Tuyen Quang’s signature products to the global market has become one of the province’s key tasks, particularly for the industry and trade sector.

Within the framework of the Vietnam–China Border Economic, Trade and Tourism Fair (Wenshan), to be held from November 7 to 16, 2025, in Wenshan City, Yunnan Province, China, Tuyen Quang Province will take this opportunity to introduce its unique agricultural, medicinal, handicraft, and highland specialty products to international partners. The event is special significance as part of the “Vietnam–China People-to-People Exchange Year 2025.”

This year’s fair, themed “Sharing Opportunities, Building Prosperity Together,” aims to realize the common understandings reached by the top leaders of both countries, promoting trade and investment cooperation and expanding collaboration in key economic sectors.

According to the Tuyen Quang Department of Industry and Trade, the province will showcase its products in 30 international-standard booths (3m x 3m each), sponsored by the Wenshan Bureau of Commerce, Yunnan Province. Featured products include Phin Ho green tea and Pu’er tea by Phin Ho Tea Processing Cooperative; mint honey by Truong Anh Co., Ltd and Po My Agricultural and Commercial Cooperative; turmeric starch by Ngoc Son Agricultural Cooperative; herbal teas, and fine wood handicrafts. These are all export-potential products that reflect Tuyen Quang’s rich cultural identity.

At the booth, besides display and sampling activities, Tuyen Quang will organize traditional tea-making demonstrations, introduce harvesting and processing processes, distribute bilingual brochures (Vietnamese–Chinese/English), and screen short videos illustrating the tea value chain - from harvesting to brewing - along with product certifications for food safety and organic standards. The transparent and professional presentation is expected to build trust among international partners, especially in a market increasingly attentive to product origin and safety.

To prepare for participation, the Provincial Center for Industrial and Trade Promotion has implemented detailed plans under the direction of the Department of Industry and Trade. Since early September 2025, the Department has coordinated with relevant agencies to select 12 outstanding enterprises representing the province at the fair, exhibiting in 30 international-standard booths. The products have been carefully screened for economic value and export potential.

In addition, the Center has guided enterprises in improving packaging, labeling, and bilingual product documentation to meet international standards. It has also proactively coordinated with Chinese counterparts on booth layout, goods transportation, customs clearance, and accommodation for the provincial delegation.

The 2025 Vietnam–China Border Economic, Trade and Tourism Fair presents an important opportunity for Tuyen Quang to promote its image, products, and culture to the international market. Through close cooperation between authorities, trade promotion agencies, and local enterprises, Tuyen Quang aims to bring its unique local brands to the global stage.
