Ensuring supply and stabilizing fuel prices

In response to the recent continuous surge in global refined fuel prices, the management and regulation of gasoline and oil prices in Tuyen Quang Province have been implemented in a synchronized and effective manner, closely following the directives of the Government and central ministries and agencies. These efforts have contributed to maintaining market stability and ensuring fuel supply for production, business activities, and the daily life of the people.

Currently, the province has 209 gasoline and oil retail outlets in operation. Fuel supply remains basically stable, with no shortages, supply disruptions, hoarding, or speculation reported. Fuel trading enterprises strictly comply with the pricing levels set by the inter-ministerial regulation of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance, while publicly and transparently posting prices in accordance with legal regulations.

Fuel prices in the province are applied in line with the price adjustment announced in the afternoon session on January 8, 2026, corresponding to the maximum retail prices for Region 2. Specifically, RON95-III unleaded gasoline is priced at VND 18,930 per liter; RON95-V unleaded gasoline at VND 19,740 per liter; E5 RON92-II bio-gasoline at VND 18,590 per liter; 0.001S-V diesel oil at VND 18,010 per liter; 2-K kerosene at VND 17,900 per liter; and N02B (3.5S) fuel oil at VND 13,600 per kilogram. All prices include value-added tax and environmental protection tax.

Looking ahead, domestic fuel prices are expected to continue being influenced by developments in the global market, with a possibility of slight increases in upcoming price adjustment periods. According to leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade, the agency will continue to closely monitor the situation and coordinate with relevant forces to step up inspections and supervision of fuel trading activities, focusing on compliance with price regulations, measurement standards, product quality, and fire prevention and safety. Violations will be promptly detected, rectified, and strictly handled.
