The vegetable market across the province has maintained a steady supply, effectively meeting consumers’ needs.

In major concentrated vegetable-growing areas such as Trung Mon, Kim Phu, Nong Tien, Tan Quang, Ngoc Ha and Ngoc Duong, winter crops are growing well thanks to favourable weather conditions and specialized production methods. This has helped ensure sufficient supplies for lunar new year market.

The operations of cooperatives, particularly models producing organic and safe vegetables under OCOP standards, have contributed to improving product quality, stabilizing prices, and expanding consumer choices. In addition to local output, supplies of vegetables are also supplemented from neighboring localities.

Accordingly, prices of essential vegetables remain largely stable, such as cabbage at VND 8,000 - VND15,000 per kilogram, kohlrabi at VND 12,000 - VND15,000 per kilogram, and chayote at VND 7,000 – VND 10,000 per kilogram, etc.

To ensure market stability, the agricultural sectors and local authorities have implemented coordinated measures in production promotion and market demand forecasting. They have closely worked with cooperatives and distribution enterprises to keep stable prices. Quality control and food safety inspections continue to be strengthened at traditional markets and modern distribution systems, contributing to a safe and happy Tet for local people.
