Xuan Giang moves towards sustainable development
Leveraging its expanded land area, cool climate, and abundant natural food sources, Xuan Giang Commune has implemented various production models, with a focus on buffalo breeding, helping local people improve their incomes.
According to Decision No. 90 of the Prime Minister approving the National Target Program for Sustainable Poverty Reduction for the 2021–2025 period, in 2025, six hamlets of Xuan Giang Commune of Na Beng, Tung Cum, Lung Vi, Khan Nho, Bo Lam, and Tham Mang were provided with buffaloes, creating favorable conditions for local people to develop their livelihoods.

Vice Chairman of the Xuan Giang People’s Committee Phung Minh Thanh said that the commune consolidated the program’s Steering Committee, developed detailed plans, and selected appropriate production models for participating households.
All projects were implemented in a timely and proper manner, with close coordination among the Commune People’s Committee, the Poverty Reduction Steering Committee, and relevant units.
In addition, the commune aims to apply information technology in project management. Project documents have been digitized to support data consolidation, reporting, and the replication of effective models in the future.
Thanks to support from the State, local authorities, and relevant agencies, people of Xuan Giang have become more proactive in production, actively applying technological advances and tapping into local potential to improve household economic conditions.
