In the final months of 2025, Tuyen Quang’s industrial sector has shown strong momentum, affirming the province’s strategic focus on key high-value industries such as electronics–optics, textiles and garments, wood processing and furniture, agro-forestry processing, and renewable energy.

In the first 11 months of the year, industrial production value is estimated at VND 30.196 trillion, up 21.8% year-on-year and achieving more than 90% of the 2025 target.

Notably, modern industries are posting exceptional growth: electronics, computers, and optics rose by 76.88%; textiles and garments increased by 63.76%, remaining a leading export sector; and leather manufacturing expanded by 22.75% with a stable market share. With abundant raw materials and rising demand, wood-based furniture grew by 28.35%, while food processing increased by 5.94%, maintaining its role as a foundational industry.

Wood processing is regarded as the “pillar” of the province’s industrial base, with over 500 facilities, including eight major enterprises with capacities ranging from 20,000 to 130,000 square meters per year. Interior furniture, plywood, and wood pellets from Tuyen Quang have penetrated demanding markets such as the United States, Japan, and the EU. Woodsland Tuyen Quang Joint Stock Company, one of the leading firms, continuously updates designs and technology to meet export requirements, expanding its orders from Europe and aiming for VND 2 trillion in revenue in 2025.

To support rapid industrial development, the province is accelerating investment in industrial infrastructure across Long Binh An Industrial Park, Binh Vang Industrial Park, Thanh Thuy Border-Gate Economic Zone, and the Phuc Ung 2, Xuan Van, and Nhu Khe industrial clusters. Among these, Phuc Ung 2 is proposed to become the province’s first smart industrial cluster, applying digital technologies to optimize operations and reduce production costs.

Improved infrastructure and open investment policies have helped Tuyen Quang attract nine new projects with a total registered capital of over VND 3.508 trillion. Several projects significantly reshape the industrial landscape, including the Tuyen Quang biomass power plant, the Tuyen Quang – Trung Son coal briquette plant, an eyewear and packaging factory, a stuffed toy factory, and the VDL Ha Giang wood board processing plant.

According to Hoang Duc Tien, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, after the provincial merger, the sector reviewed the entire industrial cluster planning, retaining only effective clusters and supplementing specialized ones for agro-forestry processing, medicinal materials, and high-tech products for 2025–2030. The province is also advancing the 2021–2025 industrial promotion program, supporting enterprises in technological innovation, packaging design, product improvement, digital transformation, and cleaner production.

With a strategy centered on high-impact industries and consistent, decisive policy direction, Tuyen Quang’s industrial sector is positioned for a strong breakthrough, establishing a foundation for rapid, sustainable growth and strengthening its role as a key economic driver in the years ahead.
