Thanh Thuy taps potential for sustainable development

With a spirit of solidarity, unity, creativity and determination, Thanh Thuy Commune is focusing on tapping its potential, mobilizing resources, and promoting rapid and sustainable socio-economic development.

The Dao people in Xa Phin Hamlet, Thanh Thuy Commune, have preserved their traditional cultural identity, contributing to the community’s attractiveness.

The First Congress of the Thanh Thuy Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term identified two breakthrough tasks: developing distinctive agricultural products with high value and quality linked to product value chains; and comprehensively advancing digital transformation, effectively exploiting national databases, and focusing on building specialized databases through digitized products to serve grassroots-level management.

Regarding public administrative service reform, from July 1 to December 8, the commune received 1,008 applications, with online public service submissions accounting for the majority, at 789 dossiers. The index measuring services for citizens and businesses on the National Public Service Portal reached 91.07 out of 100 points. Online payments generated more than VND 11.1 million out of a total of VND 13.3 million in fees.

In agriculture, the commune continues to care for 362.5 hectares of tea, maintaining a stable yield of 9.5 tons per hectare, along with 652 hectares of cardamom currently in the ripening stage. The commune also prioritizes the development of four 3-star OCOP products of Tra Peng Cooperative and Thanh Thuy Cooperative, including fermented tea, traditional tea and Chot 468 tea. At the same time, people are encouraged to develop concentrated, commodity-oriented livestock farming, while trade and services are expanded in the commune center. These efforts aim to gradually form agricultural value chains linked to stable markets, creating momentum for sustainable local economic development.
