Tuyen Quang youth take the lead in innovative entrepreneurship

In recent years, the youth entrepreneurship movement in Tuyen Quang has grown strongly, demonstrating the dynamism and creativity of young people in driving local economic development.

The province currently has more than 80,000 members of the Youth Union operating in 169 grassroots units. Various levels of the Youth Union have organized dozens of startup training courses, attracting over 25,000 participants and helping enhance skills, knowledge, and the capacity to implement economic models. To date, the province has over 100 cooperatives led by young people, more than 100 supported economic models, and over 20 OCOP-certified products developed by youth, creating jobs for thousands of young workers.

The vegetable and fruit farming model of Youth Union members Bui Truong Linh and Nguyen Van Cong in Binh Ca Commune generates over VND270 million per year.

Many outstanding models have achieved high economic efficiency, such as Phung Thi Huyen’s herbal chicken farming model in Tan Thanh Commune, earning VND300 million per year; Duong Van Nam’s commercial goat farming model in Hong Son Commune, generating VDN400 million annually; and Giang Seo Quang’s commercial black pig farming combined with local green pear cultivation in Xin Man Commune, which also brings in VND400 million per year.

Notably, the Ha Den grape cultivation model combined with experiential tourism developed by Vang Mi Seo, born in 1996, in Ha Giang 2 Ward, has become a standout example. With nearly one hectare of grapes generating about VND200 million per year and creating seasonal jobs for 4–5 workers, the model has been recognized as a creative startup initiative by the local Youth Union.

To further strengthen the startup movement, the Tuyen Quang Provincial Youth Union actively connects experts, young entrepreneurs, and startup mentors to support youth through each stage of project development. Training on business planning, branding, risk management, and trade promotion is regularly organized at the grassroots level. The Youth Union also collaborates with the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies, the National Employment Fund, and various enterprises to provide preferential loans for young startups.

With a spirit of innovation and determination, the youth of Tuyen Quang are asserting their pioneering role, contributing to building a prosperous, modern, and livable homeland.
