Currently, Cao Binh has 76 households, primarily of Dao and Tay ethnic groups. While life in the village remains challenging, thanks to the attention of local authorities and the efforts of the people, the villagers' incomes have steadily improved, with only 13 poor households remaining. In the past two years (2021–2022), the villagers contributed hundreds of millions of VND and donated thousands of square meters of land to concrete 3.5 kilometers of roads within the village.
Cao Binh is known for its high-quality agricultural products, such as spring peanuts, which are sold at a premium compared to other regions. Many families, like Luong Van Phuong’s, have earned tens of millions of VND from growing peanuts. Additionally, the village is famous for its black pig farming movement, with some households becoming millionaires through this business.
With nearly 200 hectares of natural land, Cao Binh has also succeeded in cultivating sugarcane. Over 50 households now grow more than 25 hectares of sugarcane, harvesting nearly 2,000 tons of raw material annually.

Moreover, the sturgeon farming model by Luong Van Huu has become a notable tourist attraction.
With ongoing investment and support from local authorities and the community, Cao Binh is opening up new opportunities for economic and tourism development, promising to become a bright spot in Tan My Commune’s future.
