Typhoon No. 10 brought prolonged heavy rains and rising floods, submerging many areas across the province and severely affecting people’s lives as food, drinking water, and medicine became scarce. In response, local authorities and functional forces have urgently deployed measures to deliver essential supplies, including food, clean water, and medicine, to every household in flooded areas.

In unaffected areas such as Minh Xuan, Nong Tien, An Tuong, and Binh Thuan wards, supermarket systems like Winmart, Winmart+, and Tuyen Quang Supermarket have proactively stockpiled goods and worked with suppliers in Hanoi, Hai Duong, and nearby provinces to strengthen supply chains of essential items such as rice, instant noodles, bottled water, and fresh produce. The supermarkets committed to maintaining adequate supplies and stable prices, launching promotional programs offering 5%–20% discounts to ease the burden on residents during the floods.

Meanwhile, traditional markets such as Tam Co, Phan Thiet, Xoan, and Km15, along with major stores and cooperatives, continue operating stably, providing abundant essential goods with clearly posted prices. Pharmacies and drugstores across the province have also prepared sufficient stocks of fever, cold, and digestive medicines, as well as medical supplies like bandages and disinfectants.

The Tuyen Quang Market Management Department has strengthened inspections and supervision to ensure supply stability and price control. According to Mr. Le Manh Thao, Acting Head of the provincial Market Management Sub-Department, no cases of hoarding or price manipulation have been detected. Essential goods remain sufficiently supplied with transparent and stable prices, helping residents stay secure and supported through the flood season.
