Humpback chung cake is a traditional dish of the Tay ethnic group in Ngoc Duong commune, Tuyen Quang province.
Ingredients of the dish include indigenous black pork, local glutinous rice mixed with the juice of crushed fresh galangal leaves or the ash of the wild tree to create two unique cake colors: green and black. Therefore, the humpback chung cake has a unique flavor.
